The Early Years of the life of Jane Eyre was a devised piece created by The Acting Ensemble, and its first production. It created the world of the North of England at the time of George lll.  

Orphaned Jane is sent Lowood school by her uncaring bitter aunt. In this harsh institution for young ladies, Jane meets Helen. Helen and Jane’s friendship becomes the defining moment in Jane’s young life and later gives her the strength to embark on her own in the world taking up a post as governess at Thornfield Hall.
