The Acting Ensemble Paris presents Arthur Millers truly timeless classic play: The Crucible.

A severe test of one’s responsibility to both oneself and to society.

Faced with a society that is surrendering to the irrational, the characters wrestle with their consciences and their integrity.

The Crucible is a fierce reminder of how fragile are the shared values that make up the foundation of any society.

The Cast

Aishwarya Falke as Deputy Governor Danforth

Aishwarya is from India. She teaches English at the Sorbonne and is a writer and actress. This is her first year with The Ensemble Company and we are delighted that she will return in the Fall.

Anna Hermkens as Abigail Williams, Ruth Putnam, Martha Corey & Susanna Walcott

Anna originates from Hungary. She is a Fashion management Student and began her training as an actress with the Ensemble Company. She returns to the Company in the Fall.

Arthur Ooms as John Proctor

Arthur is from Belgium. He is a professional actor who studied with Alexa. This is his first time performing in English.

Ayesha Small as Ann Putnam and Marshal Willard

Ayesha originates from Canada. She has been studying with the Ensemble Company for 3 years and just shot her first professional film in a leading role.

Coea Moore as Thomas Putnam

Coea is from Seattle and is passionate about film and theatre. This is his first year, studying acting with the Ensemble Company and will return in the Fall.

Daisy Jane Forte as Elizabeth Proctor

Daisy has recently graduated from Le Cours Florent. She has been studying acting in English with The Ensemble this year and hopes to move to London in the Fall.

Dentiza Zafirova as Ezekiel Cheever

Denitza is from Bulgaria. She originally trained at Stella Adler in New York. She has a multi disciplinary practice working with installations and co-runs a life drawing class in Paris. We are delighted that Denitza will return in the Fall.

Emma De Bermingham as Mercy Lewis

Emma is a working actress recently starring in the movie Karaoke. Her weekly podcast Enquête de Spiritualité is currently airing and wonderfully interesting.

Ivy Hsu as Betty Parris

Ivy originates from Taiwan. She’s an actress model and designer. She has been with the Ensemble Company for four years and is an honored member.

Jade Jezzini as Reverend John Hale

Jade is a graduate from Cours Florent. He is a working actor and musician with an extraordinary singing voice. This is his first year, working with The Acting Ensemble.

José Chabel as Judge Hathorne

José is from Brazil. He is an actor artist and opera singer and has been working with The Ensemble Company for the past 4 years. He is an honored member.

Leonor Placido as Giles Corey

Leonor is from Portugal. She has a degree in theatre and the performing arts. This is her first year with The Ensemble Company. She hopes to create her own Theatre program for children.

Lizzie Gale as Abigail Williams & Ruth Putnam

Lizzie is a graduate of Le Cours Florent. She is a working actress who also loves teaching small children. This is her first year with the Ensemble Company.

Louise Pascal as Elizabeth Proctor

Louise is a professional actress and model. This is her first year working with The Ensemble Company.

Marthe Grootendorst as Mary Warren, Martha Corey & Susanna Walcott

Marthe was born in Holland. She is a first year, acting student with the Ensemble and will be returning to the Company in the Fall.

Oscar Ceville as Reverend Parris

Oscar originates from Panama. He has a long career in the performing arts both as an actor and a Director in both Panama and the USA. We are delighted that Oscar will be returning to the Ensemble next year.

Patricia Deery as Rebecca Nurse

Patricia originates from San Francisco and started acting in Dublin Ireland. We are delighted that Patricia will be returning to The Ensemble in the Fall.

Philippa Mosley as Susanna Walcott and Martha Corey

Philippa is from the UK. She is a corporate lawyer at slaughter and May on secondment here in Paris. This is her first year with The Ensemble.

Silvia Serrano as Mary Warren, Martha Corey & Susanna Walcott

Silvia originates from Colombia. She is a professional engineer and has been with the Ensemble for 4 years. She is an honored member of the company.

Teilo Quillard as John Proctor

Teilo is a bilingual actor, writer, director and musician. He studied acting with Alexa and is currently in his first year as a directing student at La Fémis.

Thuto Ngidi as Tituba

Thuto is from South Africa. Her training with the Ensemble Company was cut short due to Covid. She returned this year to complete her studies while doing the voiceover for Blood River.
